Prime
Minister Mark Rutte (Liberal) has said in a televised debate that jihadis which
leave the Netherlands to kill in Iraq or Syria will do the same when they come
back to the Netherlands. It is therefore
preferable that they remain to die in Iraq or Syria. The other party leaders of Left Liberal,
Christian Democrats and the Socialist parties opposed Rutte’s attitude.
