More police
officers have been dismissed on the grounds of misbehavior in 2014 than in
2013. The increase was about 20%.
Ninety-two police officers were definitely dismissed, and 54 were put on
probation. In 11 of these cases, officers were have found to have leaked
sensitive information, 6 were dismissed because of fraud, and 10 because of “inappropriate
dealing with citizens”. This is a euphemism for sexual misbehavior or acts of
violence.
