More than 1,600 Complaints against Defense Ministry about Toxic Paint

The Ministry of Defense has announced that the number of complaints from employees and former employees who have worked with the carcinogenic chrome 6-laden paints has risen to over 1,600.  There are several research projects taking place on the detrimental effects of the paint, which was used both in Ministry and NATO workshops. In the meantime, the Ministry has started paying out between 3,000-15,000 euro to those that have become severely ill.
