Recent
figures obtained from the Dutch intelligence service, AIVD, show that at least
180 Dutchmen have left for Syria. The
prosecution has started investigating 92 suspected of terrorism. Yet anti-terror measures against people in
the Netherlands are only applied in a very limited way. Fifty passports of Dutch jihadists have been
confiscated, and only 12 jihadists have had their accounts frozen.
