The
Amsterdam jihadi, Rafik, has been killed in the battle of Kobani in Syria. Rafik is of Moroccan origin, and left in 2013
with a number of others from north Amsterdam to Syria. He voluntarily returned after a few months to
the Netherlands, where he was arrested at Amsterdam airport. After a few months in the Netherlands, he
left in summer 2014 back to Syria where he got married.
