Amsterdam Squatters Throw Fireworks on Police

Last night, barricades were put up by squatters in Spuistraat in Amsterdam.  The barricades were then set on fire.  Squatters re-entered into a new building from which they had been evicted in the past.  Today the police removed the barricades, while squatters were throwing fireworks on them.  The police are likely to start the evacuation of all buildings occupied by squatters in the street. The special unit of the police has taken up positions in the street.
