Police Has No Time for Complaints

On Saturday a Jewish man who was wearing a kippah (skullcap) was beaten up by three Moroccans in one of the better areas of Amsterdam. When he complained to the police, they said they were busy and asked him to come back a few days later. After criticism by the Center for Information and Documentation on Israel (CIDI), the police apologized. (From the talkbacks to this item in various newspapers it seems that policemen often say that they have no time to deal immediately with complaints.)
