Patients Worried about Conditions of Hospital Operating Rooms

The Dutch Patients Consumer Federation (NPCF) has called the results of the investigation of Dutch hospital operating rooms “surprising and worrying.” They reacted to the report by the Dutch Inspectorate of Health. The deputy-director of the NCPF, Atie Schipaanboord, said “it is not acceptable that during high risk surgery so little attention is given to the safety of the patient.”
