44% Cancer Risk for Dutch Men


Dutch researchers have studied the risks for Dutchmen to get one of 56 kinds of cancer. They found that 44% of men and 38% of women will get cancer at some stage of their life. In 2005 81,000 people were diagnosed with some form of the disease. For most of them it was the first time. Almost 40,000 died of the illness during that year.
