Senior Police Officer: Turkey Blackmailed Dutch Justice

Klaas Langedoen, former chief of Criminal Intelligence Service (CID) says that in exchange for a Dutch condemnation of the Koerd Baybasin on the basis of false proofs, Turkey agreed to withhold information on the abuse of minor boys by former senior Dutch official Joris Demmink. Langedoen declared that as a witness before the court in Utrecht.

Dutch Buy Cheaper Gasoline in Germany

As gasoline and cigarettes are becoming increasingly more expensive in the Netherlands, more and more Dutch people cross over the border to Germany for their purchases. Gasoline costs 16 Euro cents more per liter in the Netherlands now than in Germany. This leads to major economic problems for Dutch gasoline stations near the German border which have lost tens of percent of their gasoline sales. While these Dutch are already in Germany to fill up their tanks, they also buy other goods in Germany, damaging the Dutch economy further.

Meat in Dutch Shops not Safe

The Investigation Council for Safety has published a report titled “Risks in the Meat Chain.” The report concluded that production companies consider economic factors more important than safe products. Hygiene rules are often not followed due to insufficient training of personnel, or due to time pressures for instance. Fraud in the meat industry is frequent also. Meat which is initially labeled as “waste meat” is turned into meat for human consumption. The safety of horse meat is not guaranteed, as it is so easily subject to fraud. The council concludes that the authority which is in charge of control and safety, the Dutch Food and Commodities Authority (NVWA) in particular, makes many mistakes. This is due to the frequent reorganization and cost-cutting. Its means are too limited to act efficiently in the meat chain.

Senior Prosecutor: Former High Dutch Official Involved in Pedophilia

In an interview, Hans Vrakking, former senior prosecutor in Amsterdam said that he had carried out a secret investigation about pedophilia accusations against former top official of the Ministry of Security and Justice, Joris Demmink. He said that Demmink’s driver told the Dutch intelligence service that he couldn’t stand the fact that Demmink had sex in the car from time to time with little boys. He was surprised that then-head of the ministry Harry Borghouts apparently was informed about his investigations.

Many Dutch Retailers no Longer Complain to the Police

A TV program of the NCRV broadcaster claimed that one out of three Dutch retailers no longer complains to police about theft or vandalism. This is based on an inquiry among more than 800 retailers. These people believe that complaining to the police is a waste of time and that the police discourage complaints. A spokesman of the organization Detailhandel Nederland, recognizes the signals. He says, “Policemen say that complaints are just filed, or that the perpetrators will not be found anyway.”

You Tube: Jihadi from the Netherlands with Five cut-off Heads

Abdurahman, apparently a Dutch jihadi from Almere, can be seen on You Tube with a bloody knife behind five cut-off heads. He is originally from Iraq, and has lived more than ten years in The Netherlands. He lived there from social security as he was found unfit to work and used drugs against claustrophobia and schizophrenia. In 2012 an AFP picture emerged on which Abdurahman could be seen next to a dead body, while he was reading the Koran. Initially he joined the Jabhat-al Nusra movement in Syria, which is linked to Al Qaida. It seems that he has now moved to the even more barbarian ISIS jihadis. It is claimed that the heads were cut off from Al Nusra fighters.

Easy to Break out of Dutch Prisons

The bars before the windows of Dutch prisons can easily be removed. They have been screwed in with regular screws and not with special antitheft screws. These can be loosened with an ordinary screwdriver. This became clear when recently a murderer and serial rapist escaped from the Penitentiary Psychiatric Center in Vught. According to prison employees regular screws are preferred by the prison authorities because it is easier to paint them. www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/22385416/__Uitbreken_uit_bajes_simpel__.html

American Scientists: Netherlands will not Meet Commitment of Previous Nuclear Top

Three American scientists criticized the Netherlands because it has made a commitment at the 2012 NSS Nuclear Top which it cannot meet. In 2012, the Netherlands promised to pass from highly enriched uranium to low enriched uranium for the production of medical isotopes by the end of 2015. The Netherlands is hosting the next nuclear top this month. Dutch Intelligence Services Broke Law

Both Dutch intelligence and security services AIVD, the general one and MIVD the military one, have broken the law. A number of these irregularities were already mentioned in 2011. This is the conclusion of an investigation of the CTIVD, at the request of Parliament. The CTIVD is an independent commission which supervises the two intelligence services. MIVD collected data in collaboration with foreign intelligence services without asking permission from the minister. The AIVD used agents to collect information which came down to wiretapping without asking for permission of the minister. Chairman Harm Brouwer of CTIVD considers the irregularities very serious. However, the AIVD and MIVD do not collect data systematically illegally. http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/22374194/__AIVD___MIVD_onrechtmatigheden__.html

Municipal Study: More People sit on Terraces in the Sun than when it Rains

During 9 months in 2012 and 2013, a service of the Amsterdam municipality investigated the impact of noise levels made by people sitting on café terraces. One of the results was that more noise is made when there is sun than when there is rain. Another conclusion was that on Friday and on weekends, there is an increase of noise in the evening and night. Also when there are special days such as Queens Day and Gay Pride Day, there is an increase in noise. www.elsevier.nl/Nederland/nieuws/2014/3/Amsterdams-onderzoek-terras-drukker-bij-zon-dan-regen-1475741W/

Police had to draw their weapons to separate the fans. The police special unit had to intervene in front of the Arena Stadium also. Dutch Energy Supplies Partly Derived from Columbian Blood Coals

Coal imported into the Netherlands which provide a substantial part of the energy of the country, is partly ‘blood coal’ from Columbia. The Volkskrant daily visited the Cesar region of Columbia, from which more than half of its coal exports to the Netherlands. The coal industry there makes agriculture impossible and causes lung disease among the population. Child prostitution and venereal disease have increased greatly since the opening of the mines. Already in 2010, the Columbian Ministry of Environment decided that three villages have to be moved in view of the huge air pollution. The mining companies have still not provided adequate housing for the population to be moved. Critics of the coal mines receive death threats. Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade Lilianne Ploumen (Labor Party) said that efforts to deal with the problem have so far been unsuccessful. www.volkskrant.nl/vk/nl/2664/Nieuws/article/detail/3606789/2014/03/04/Nederlandse-energiecentrales-draaien-nog-op-bloedkolen.dhtml

General Intelligence Service Mistrusts Military Intelligence Service

At the headquarters of the Dutch General Intelligence Service (AIVD) in Zoetermeer, a common cyber unit (Joint Sigint Cyber Unit) will be created together with the military intelligence service (MIVD). This means that under 250 employees of MIVD will move to the AIVD headquarters. The AIVD wants an additional security clearance for the MIVD employees because they want to know who they are bringing into their headquarters. The MIVD employees are furious, because they already have a security clearance and want to take legal action against the AIVD. www.powned.tv/nieuws/binnenland/2014/02/mivd_woest_op_aivd.html
