Public Prosecutor Doesn’t Destroy Recordings of Confidential Phone Calls

It has been found that, in the investigation of murders in the Amsterdam underworld the public prosecutor’s office did not destroy 163 recordings of conversations between suspects and their lawyers. This is illegal. In the past the neglect in destroying such conversations has led to the cancellation of court cases. The best known such case concerned the Hell’s Angels.
