After Attack on Employees, Railways Take Security Measures

The Dutch Railways (NS) and the trade unions have agreed on a number of security measures on the so-called Flevo route. Extra security staff will be put on the trains and after 8 pm security people will patrol with dogs at the Almere Central Station. This agreement was reached after six youngsters attacked two railway employees at that station. The trade unions had asked for even more security.
