Attacks Reach Record Level

The police have not succeeded in fighting the wave of attacks in almost all regions of the Netherlands. The main victims are houses, restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops. In 2008 there were 230 more attacks than in 2007. In January and February there were 579 attacks which is an increase of 21% over the corresponding months of the previous year.
