The World Nature Fund (WNF) found in
an investigation that the Netherlands has fallen from 18th place to
21st place among the 25 world’s most important nations as far as
clean energy technology is concerned. Its sales of these technologies declined
in 2011 by 14%. The WNF said that the Netherlands has much knowledge on clean
technology but is exploiting it poorly.
