“Homosexual” is the main curse heard
on Dutch soccer fields. For instance, fans of the Amsterdam Ajax soccer team
sing when the Rotterdam team of Feyenoord visits: “Homos walk hand in hand.”
Recently, when the Utrecht team visited, they sang: “Amsterdam, team of the
Homos.” Half the stadium replied: “Yes, they are the Homos from Utrecht.” Not a
single player in the Dutch top league has admitted to being homosexual.
