Trade Union Says Soldiers' Representatives Punished for Criticism

Jan Kleian, chairman of the ACOM military trade union, says that soldiers are demanding more employee participation and better protection of their rights if they criticize their superiors. According to ACOM soldiers who are active in employee co-participation commissions are sometimes suspended or even fired for being too explicit in expressing their positions. Kleian added that superiors have great problems with the concept of co-participation.
