Plans for construction of an industrial park, Science Link, in the town of Venray, have been cancelled due to threats from animal rights activists. A number of firms which conduct tests on animals were to have been located in this park. In protest, the activists have besmirched the houses of the developer's staff.www.nrc.nl/binnenland/article88
