Five Thousand Disabled Waiting for Placement in Care Facilities


Five thousand disabled people, including elderly suffering from dementia and mildly mentally handicapped youngsters must wait too long for placement in appropriate facilities. This was reported by Secretary of Health Care Jet Bussemaker (Labor Party) in a letter to Parliament. She claims that the care institutions are responsible for the growth of the waiting list.
