Almere: Bus Drivers Fed up with Violence

The 300 bus drivers in Almere who are employed by the Connexxion company are fed up with the repeated insults and violence against them. One out of ten drivers has been attacked physically. Annemarie Jorritsma, the mayor of the town, says that she considers this to be a very serious problem and will see what can be done about it. www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/3039754/__Chauffeurs_zijn_bedreiging_beu__.html?pageNumber=4

I don't see the point of taking media news, which is nearly all bad news, and distilling out the "bad" news from the "nearly all bad" news. In my experience, to depend on the media for comprehensive coverage about conditions anywhere is shortsighted from the start.
