Party Worried about Child Hooliganism in Rotterdam

Labor Peter van Heemst, chairman of the Labor faction in the Rotterdam Municipality, has expressed his concern about the hooliganism and intimidation by children in the Rotterdam Katendrecht neighborhood. The television program Premtime showed how children of 20 families – aged 9 to 15 – cause a nuisance and destruction and intimidate neighbors. The TV crew was attacked by these children. People who reproached them were called “gangsters and whores.” Neighbors said that they do not dare to say anything to the children because they may throw stones through their windows. www.volkskrant.nl/binnenland/article534878.ece/
