Head of Prosecution Apologizes to Family of the Late Former Minister Els Borst

The head of the prosecution, Herman Bolhaar, has apologized to the family of the late Deputy Prime Minister Els Borst and to the family of the sister of the presumed murderer.  The defendant is accused of having murdered both the Minister and his own sister.  A public commission concluded that the prosecution had greatly failed in dealing with the accused.  The commission found a chain of blunders committed by the prosecution.
