Half of Dutch Hospitals Refuse IVF for Single Women

The monthly Opzij has found that half of Dutch hospitals are unwilling to provide IVF fertility treatments to single women.  This goes against the guidelines of gynecologists.  Back in 2010, the then-Minister of Public Health, Ab Klink, informed hospitals and clinics that they could not systematically refuse single women and lesbian couples fertility treatments.
