Retired Professor of political anthropology Mart Bax of the Amsterdam Free University has during fifteen years committed serious scientific misbehavior. This is the conclusion of an investigation commission headed by historian Michel Baud published today. Bax has invented at least 61 publications and recycled the same articles under different titles a number of times. He also invented awards he never received and positions he never held. The University in the meantime will not undertake any steps against Bax.
