Christian Democrat Leader: Netherlands is the Sick Man of Europe

Sybrand van Haersma Buma, leader of the Christian Democrats opposition party said that the Netherlands is “the sick man of Europe.” He added that the Netherlands is at a dead end by increasing taxes and charges to the public, leveling incomes which hit the middle class in particular and short-time savings. The government bureaucracy should not increase further.
