The number of publications by
former Professor Diederik Stapel, in which he has included fraudulent data, keeps growing. A commission of investigation at the University of Groningen has
checked 46 articles. In 21 of them there were fraudulent data. In three more, it
is highly likely that the same is the case but it has not been fully proven. The
commission of investigation at Tilburg University found that 34 out of Stapel’s
54 articles when he was employed there contained fraudulent data. The commission of investigation at Amsterdam University
found that it is highly probable that 7 out of 30 articles most probably
contain fraudulent data.
