The referee interrupted a soccer
game between two clubs of the top league, Utrecht and Ajax. The reason given
was that part of the home club supporters threw firecrackers on the playing
field and sang “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the Gas.” After a quarter of an hour, the
game was resumed.
