At least 15,000 condemned criminals
cannot be caught in the Netherlands. Together they have been condemned to 3,388
years in jail. This also includes people who have been charged with child
abuse, violent robberies and murder. These results are from data which RTL News
has asked at the CJIB office of the Dutch Justice Department. From data of the
CJIB results, in the past five years, more than 10,000 criminals succeeded in
escaping jail because of the statute of limitations.
