Minister: Attorney-General Should Have Investigated Spy Much Earlier

Ernst Hirsch Ballin, Minister of Justice (Christian Democrats) declared in Parliament that the attorney-general should have investigated much earlier the Rotterdam policeman who is alleged to have spied for the Moroccan intelligence services. The matter was dealt with only after the subject was raised in the NOVA television program. The discovery of this issue caused several Moroccan diplomats to leave the country.
