More Supervision Needed for Children on Playgrounds


Twelve thousand children require emergency medical care annually after being injured at places other than the home environment and sports fields. Many of these incidents occur on playgrounds. This is the result of a study by the Foundation for Consumers and Safety, together with the Food and Merchandise Authority. They recommend better supervision of children on playgrounds.
