Attorney-General’s Office: For a Decade Authorities Ignored Trade in Women


A new report of the Attorney-General’s office says that the authorities had hardly any knowledge of what was going on in the trade of women in the last ten years. During this period between 80 and 120 prostitutes were violently exploited by two brothers in the red light districts of Amsterdam, Utrecht and Alkmaar. Police controls did not reveal this, nor did the social services.
