The
Dutch law firm Prakken D’Oliviera, together with the Dutch Association of
Criminal Lawyers, is taking the Dutch government to court over phone tapping.
The CTIVD, the organization which supervises the Dutch intelligence services,
has confirmed that since 2003, the telephones of various lawyers of the firm
have been tapped and their conversations transcribed. The CTIVD has concluded that in some cases,
the intelligence services have behaved incorrectly.
