900 Victims of Sexual Abuse in Dutch Roman Catholic Church Register

Former Minister Win Deetman is Chairman of the commission of investigation into sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church. He has announced that more than 900 victims have registered with the commission. Deetman said that he was greatly surprised that all these abuses have come to light only now as most took place years ago. He said that he was shocked about a variety of stories which had never come in to the open saying “I hear and read things which go beyond my comprehension. How can somebody do such things to children?”
