Parliamentary Questions on Omissions Concerning Anti-Semitic Attack

Parliamentarians Joram van Klaveren and Louis Bontes (VNL party) have put forward questions in parliament as to why information regarding the anti-Semitic motivation of a recent attack on an elderly couple was concealed when it was presented in a TV broadcast.  The Opsporung Verzocht TV program asked the public for help in finding the perpetrators of the attack on the elderly Blog couple, who were so severely beaten that they are now in a nursing home confined to wheelchairs.  The parliamentarians asked, among other questions, why the public prosecution, in preparing the program, remained silent about the anti-Semitic nature of the attack, and concealed the testimony of the female victim, who said she believed the perpetrators looked Arabic-Moroccan.

May be of interest (the "trilogy" is Quran, hadith (traditional reports of Muhammad's words) and sira (traditional biography of Muhammad, which together form the basis for Islamic/sharia law)...

...Muhammad spent about 13 years preaching in Mecca, after which he made hijra (emigrated) to Medina, where his role became highly political. He formed an army and conquered Mecca about 8 years later. The Quran is not (usually) printed in chronological sequence, but the verses from Muhammad's earlier period in Mecca are more peaceable that those produced after his move to Medina.
