Deputy Prime Minister Lodewijk Asscher receives daily hate
mail via social media. His Jewish
descent on his father’s side is a particular source of vilification. He has been called a “Zionist dog who prefers
to creep into a Muslim cave rather than stand behind his own people.” He has been compared to his great-grandfather
who served the Germans in the Jewish Council during the occupation of the
Netherlands. Asscher has now attacked
his haters on facebook.
