On Thursday afternoon the police in Lille, a town in northern France, arrested tens of supporters of the Dutch soccer club PSV from Eindhoven. The Dutch team came to play the local one in a European league match. The arrests followed riots by 150 supporters in the center of town who threw bottles at policemen and committed various acts of vandalism.
