Tens of Dutch Soccer Supporters Arrested in French Town

On Thursday afternoon the police in Lille, a town in northern France, arrested tens of supporters of the Dutch soccer club PSV from Eindhoven. The Dutch team came to play the local one in a European league match. The arrests followed riots by 150 supporters in the center of town who threw bottles at policemen and committed various acts of vandalism. The police used tear gas to contain the riots.
