Twenty percent of the Dutch soldiers who have served in Afghanistan have difficulties dealing with their experiences. Most, however, are able to solve their problems when they return home. Five percent of all soldiers require psychiatric treatment after they return to the Netherlands. This was announced by the Commander in Chief of the Dutch army, Gen.
