Court Case Against Hells Angels may be Abandoned due to Negligence of Prosecution

The Amsterdam Court of Justice will investigate whether negligence by the Prosecution in the court case against the Hells Angels necessitates its abandonment. More than 100 telephone conversations between the accused and their lawyers were recorded, transcribed and kept in the file for years. Witnesses declared that the prosecution official dealing with the case had been told several times that according to the law these transcriptions should be destroyed. When the official appeared before the court he claimed that he did not remember this.
