During the general discussion which
opened the parliamentary season, studies about calculations of global warming
were withheld by the government. The organizations
that carried out the research were ready to publish the data prior to the parliamentary
discussions. Prime Minister Rutte said
that in future, he would behave the same way. He said that he could not have
published the data without simultaneously publishing a government reaction
which was not ready.
