The Dutch
football association, KNVB, intends to heavily penalize the Utrecht Soccer Club
for anti-Semitic chants which were sung during a game against Ajax in
April. Supporters of Utrecht sang, “My
father was with the commandos, my mother was with the SS, together they burned
Jews, because they burn best.” The
soccer club claims it did not know what was sung and has apologized for its
supporters.
