During a
major action of the police in the province of Limburg against motor gangs,
twenty people were arrested. Five rocket
launchers and automatic rifles were among the weapons found. This was announced at a press conference held
by the police, the pubic prosecution and Onno Hoees, the mayor of
Maastricht. Minister of Security and
Justice Ard van der Steur said that these gangs threaten people, create an
atmosphere of fear, and earn money from criminal activities.
