In the past 10 days, about 80,000
complaints have been lodged about fireworks at the monitoring point. More than
half of them concern complaints about noise. Many people were woken up by
fireworks at night. On New Year’s Eve, mainly dogs and cats had a difficult
time as was shown by the many complaints about firework stress on pets. The
monitoring point is being closed tonight.
