According to Pieter Van Ostaeyen, a Dutch expert on
jihadists in Syria, fifty Syrian soldiers were killed in a suicide attack by a
Dutch jihadi. The murderer was 24-year
old Abu Mujahid al-Hulandi, also known as Anis Zerguit. According to Van Ostaeyen, Zerguit’s brother
was killed at the end of 2014 in the battle for the Syrian town of Kobani.
