The annual poll of The Hague Municipality found that the majority of the population thinks that there are too many foreigners in the town. The percentage holding this view is particularly high among people of Turkish origin or descent (at 73%). Among native Dutch the percentage is 58% and among those of Moroccan and Surinam descent it is 53%.
