Amsterdam – One-third of Population Feels Insecure

In the first half of 2006, a poll was carried out by the Amsterdam police and the municipality, asking the citizens how they rated security in their neighborhoods. One-third of the almost 10,000 citizens polled said that they feel sometimes afraid and insecure in their neighborhood.
