A new study shows that in the past 5 years, 40 policemen
have maintained undesirable contacts with criminal organizations. Most of those have been condemned or dishonorably
dismissed. In 40% of these corruption
cases, policemen with a non-western background were involved. This is relatively high as only 10% of
policemen have a no-western background.
