Over the past two years, 59 members of a Moroccan youth group in the Amsterdam Diamond neighborhood have been arrested 263 times for theft, assault, robberies and threats. Together they received more than 27 years of jail time. This was stated by Amsterdam Mayor, Eberhard van der Laan while answering questions from the VVD Liberal Party.
