For the third consecutive time the prohibition on congregating in the Utrecht neighborhood Kanaleneiland Noord is being extended. In the coming six months a group of about 40 youngsters will be forbidden from congregating in any way in that neighborhood. These prohibitions have led to a decline in criminality and a feeling of greater safety in the neighborhood.
