Frank Giltay, chairman of the Central Employees Council (COR)
of the Dutch National Police has resigned his position. He was accused, inter
alia of organizing extremely costly festivities and buying suits at the expense
of the police. A few weeks ago Erik Akerboom, the head of the National Police
ordered an investigation of Giltay’s integrity.
