In the past four years 117 employees of the public
prosecutor’s office have been reprimanded or fired over serious
misdemeanors. These included eight
public prosecutors, of whom two were fired.
One of them appeared in court while drunk. Another public prosecutor lost a hard disk
with sensitive information while on holiday abroad. Yet another left a hard disk at a place where
he was working outside his office. Many
of those reprimanded had requested computer records of criminal cases or relating
to family members, without obtaining permission to do so.
