Hundreds of demonstrators threw fireworks, stones and eggs
at the police in Heesch. This happened during a protest against the planned
establishment of an asylum seeker center in the town. Thereupon the police used
its special mobile unit in Heesch. Three people were arrested. Last week a dead
pig was hung at the planned location for the center.
